2. ročník závodu na Vltavotýnskou míli 2005
Po loňském prvním ročníku se žáci 5. až 7. tříd vltavotýnských škol opět utkali o putovní pohár Kanoistického klubu Jiskra v závodě na ,,Vltavotýnskou míli,,. Startovní pole bylo letos ještě rozšířeno o studenty primy a sekundy gymnázia. Každá ze tříd vytvořila čtyřčlennou posádku. V roce 1998 se stali vítězi na 36ti kilometrové trati v kategorii C2 muži naši závodníci Fuksa s Bednářem. Fuksa se mimo jiné také stal mistrem světa pro rok 1998.Celý závod se i přes nepříznivé počasí těšil velkému zájmu diváků. Závodu se také zúčastnil olympijský vítěz Martin Doktor. Vltavotýnská desítka 1997
Závod Vltavotýnská desítka v roce 1997 po několika letech navázal na předchozí úspěšnou řadu tradičních závodů v Týně nad Vltavou s tímto jménem, organizovaných Kanoistickým Klubem Jiskra (dříve TJ Jiskra Týn nad Vltavou). V roce 1997 se závodilo (jak již název návodu napovídá) na tratích 1 a 5 km.
